Bears of Hope exists because every child deserves love, safety, and the unshakable knowledge that they are special.

A simple teddy bear, given with love or offered in a moment of fear or uncertainty, becomes a lasting reminder that they matter and they are loved.

Need for Sponsors

Every day, children arrive at a refuge with nothing but the clothes they are wearing. Many have fled domestic violence or abuse. They leave behind their rooms, their toys, their familiar world and often, every personal belonging they once held dear.

Bears of Hope exists because no child should face that kind of fear and loss alone.

This sponsorship-driven program allows generous individuals and businesses to place a special signature Teddy Bear into the arms of a child in crisis. It may seem small, but to a child whose world has been turned upside down, it is everything.

This teddy is more than a toy.

• That someone cares enough to reach out in their darkest moment.

Each sponsored Teddy wears an orange shirt printed with our heart logo, and the words “You are special” embroidered under its foot, a message many of these children have never heard spoken to them.
